KuDos is a consultancy firm formed by an alliance of industry specialists who have an average of over 25 years of experience in the financial and investment industry. The name KuDos is derived from the Greek word which means fame and reputations from achievements.

The firm is founded by Robert Ip, Linda Choi and Christina Y. Y. Lam in 2008.  Our Founders initiated this alliance together to accomplish our “Mission and Beliefs” in providing a unique and distinctive consultancy service in the Asia Pacific Region. 



Our mission is to be one of the most recognized consultancy firms in providing solutions to learning organizations in enriching life and work experience for employees through training and development, career coaching, staff sourcing and retention.  The ultimate aim of our Founders is to create a “Knowledge Community” by enlisting the support of experienced consultants in assisting and mentoring the younger generation of professionals for the purpose of up-keeping the reputation of Hong Kong financial industry at the highest standard.

The Founding Partners


u  Robert Ip

Robert started his accounting career with Arthur Young in Sydney and Ernst and Whiney in Hong Kong.  He became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 1987.


In 1988, Robert joined Standard Chartered Bank (“SCB”) as Senior Operations Manager to head the institutional funds and unit trusts business. Since then, Robert held various senior management positions with regional responsibilities in heading the Securities Custody & Clearing Services in Asia Pacific including Japan. 


In 2000, Robert was promoted to be the Head of Wholesale Bank Operations, covering SCB branches in Hong Kong and North East Asia, in charge of the processing platforms of cash management, global markets, trade finance, custody and credit operations’ efficiency and compliance.   He was extensively involved in managing the bank’s IPOs receiving banks’ projects in Hong Kong and China; and in outsourcing the wholesale bank’s back-office operations to regional hubs in Malaysia and India. 


Before entering the consultancy business in 2006, Robert was the Head of Operational Risk Management, Wholesale Bank Operations, Hong Kong and North East Asia, responsible for implementing BASEL II requirements and regulatory compliance guidelines and procedures in SCB.


Robert represented Standard Chartered Bank in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKEX”) Clearing and Consultative Panel; the Steering Committee for the Enhancement of Financial Infrastructure (SCEFI).  He also deputized the CEO of SCB in the Risk Management Committee of HKEX and as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Inter-bank Clearing Limited.


Robert has had extensive and practical experience in credit and risk management, operations and compliance experience in the financial industry. He is very business oriented with strong focus in delivering quality customer service. He is one of the key innovators in change management and strategies formulation at the bank.


Robert is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, with a Bachelor of Commerce.  He has been a member of the Australian Chartered Accountant since 1987 and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountant since 1985.

u  Christina Y Y Lam

Christina started her career as Area Coordinator for North Asia with S.W.I.F.T. in Hong Kong. From 1979 to 1988, she successfully implemented S.W.I.F.T. systems and provided training for over 300 financial institutions in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, and the Philippines.


In 1988, she joined Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice President where she supervised the correspondent banking unit in Hong Kong and successfully promoted STP for international money transfers in the market.  In 1994, she moved to Citibank as Senior Relationship Manager for institutional investors, covering securities processing, liquidity management and global treasury services.  After four years in this role, she moved to The Bank of New York to take responsibility for custodian business development. 


Before entering into the consultancy and training business in 2006, Christina was the Director and Chief Representative for Euroclear Bank’s Representative Office from 2000.  Based in Hong Kong, she was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Euroclear’s clients in Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan. She has successfully built and developed Euroclear’s clearing and depository franchise in Asia Pacific.


Christina has been active in the financial industry for over 25 years. In addition to her track records in sales and marketing, Christina has significant experience in projects implementation, training, relationship management and products development.


Christina has been a member of the Association for Financial Professionals in New York since 1997. She was also an active IPO/STP sub-committee member of the Industry Standardization for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC) group in Hong Kong, promoting best practices in the securities industry for straight-through processing.


She holds a degree of Master of Science in Training from the University of Leicester, Faculty of the Social Sciences. She is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and became a member of the Institute of Management Consultants Hong Kong (IMCHK) in July 2008.  She is also an accredited user of the Harrison Assessments behavior tool that assists analyses in the selection, recruitment and development of human potentials.














u  Jackie Hui

Jackie is a seasoned professional with a diverse background and proven track record in banking operations management, systems integration and process re-engineering, operational risks management as well as sales and business management.  Deep understanding of Asia Pacific with assignments in India, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.  Strong network with the investor client base and regulators in Hong Kong and China.  Specialist in securities clearing and custody services.  Recognized industry subject matter expert in China securities market - QFII, QDII, RQFII and Shanghai Hong Kong Connect.  


Jackie started his career with a securities company in Hong Kong and joined ANZ Bank Australia in 1987. Prior to returning to Hong Kong, he was an investment accountant with Capita Fund Management Company, Sydney.

From 1990 to 1992, Jackie worked for Citigroup Hong Kong, Worldwide Securities Services Division, where his key responsibilities included, Head of Services Account Management team, product development and oversight of product control and delivery. In securities custody and clearing services, he was one of the pioneers in the development of China B Shares markets, especially in the establishment of the clearing and settlement infrastruture for both Shenzhen and Shanghai B Shares.

In 1993, Jackie joined Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong, from 1993 to 2006, his key responsibilities included, Oversight of operational control of custody operations in Northeast Asia markets, oversight  of the HKD B-shares cash clearing operations in Shenzhen, operations crisis management, in charge of operational risk and anti-money laundering  management for Corporate and Institutional Client group, Transaction Banking as well as Cash, Securities Services, Trade and Credit operations.


Before entering the consultancy business in 2015, Jackie was the Executive Director for Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong with dual responsibilities covering sales of transaction banking services to the investor client base in Hong Kong as well as overall sales management responsibilities for China Securities Services (to all client segments).  Set up full scope onshore custody services capabilities including fund administration in China for Standard Chartered Bank in 2008.  Enabled Standard Chartered Bank to be the first foreign bank to be approved for custody of insurance assets by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission in 2009.

Jackie is a graduate of the University of Windsor, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic.
